At Smart Readers Liberia, we believe that every child, regardless of background, social status, and abilities deserves the opportunity to read, write, and rise. Access to literacy skill should not be a previlege, it is a right. It is not just a skill; it is also the foundation for lifelong learning, confidence, and meaningful participation in society. Since our establishment in 2021, we have remained committed to supporting children with diverse learning needs, especially those who struggle with reading. Through our flagship Children’s Literacy Development Program, we provide targeted support that helps young learners build strong reading and writing skills. Learn More.

Beyond this, our work has expanded to include teacher training and volunteer development, where we equip educators with structured, innovative, and research-based instructional strategies to better support struggling readers in their classrooms or communities Learn More.

We are also proud to offer adult literacy programs, ensuring that learning is not only limited to a centain age group, but to individuals of all ages. And as part of our broader strategy to improve exam scores for senior secondary candidates, we offer remedial education support for students preparing for or re-sitting the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) exams, helping them improve performance and regain academic confidence.
